Alcohol: 4.6% v/v (3.6% w/w)
Water: Treat water with 2 campden tablets to reduce Cloramines 24 hours prior
Grain: 8 lb. American 2-row
8 oz. American crystal 60L
8 oz. American chocolate
Mash: 80% efficiency
Mash in at 152° with 1.3 quarts of water per pound and hold for 60 minutes. Sparge with remaining sparge water at 170°
Boil: 90 minutes SG 1.040 6.5 gallons
1 Tbs Irish Moss @ 15 Minute prior to end of boil
Hops: 1.0 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 60 min.)
0.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 45 min.)
0.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 30 min.)
0.5 oz. Fuggles (4.75% AA, 15 min.)
0.5 oz. Fuggles (aroma)
Yeast: Wyeast 1028 London Ale With one pint starter
Carbonation: 2.0 volumes Dried Malt Extract: 5.40 oz. for 5 gallons @ 70°F
